| Getting Here

The Resort at Majahua Palms is easily accessed from the Zihuatanejo airport via taxi or by rental car. Both are easily obtained at the airport.
The Resort is located approximately 40 minutes from the Zihuatanejo airport.
From the Airport Drive north on Highway 200 (200 begins at the airport) past Zihuatanejo and up the hill towards Ixtapa. Follow the signs to Lazaro Cardenas – turn RIGHT at the top of the hill. Drive about one-half hour through some small villages.
OPTION A:
About 3 miles past the village of Buena Vista and around a bend you will see the LEFT turn for Troncones. Turn LEFT and follow it through Troncones pueblo to the beach. Turn RIGHT at the T-intersection and follow the road through Troncones and into the village of Majahua. In the center of Majahua turn right. Continue approximately ¼ mile to a road on the left marked with a sign “The Resort at Majahua Palms.” Proceed ½ mile to the entrance just before the large water tank on the left.
OPTION B:
Follow Hwy to Troncones sign (approx at 31 kilometer marker). Approximately 2 miles past Troncones sign is exit to your left to La Union Hwy 200. Veer right onto a freeway then turn back across freeway onto Hwy 200. Approximately 500 yards ahead is a road on the left to Majahua. Turn left and go over the hill. Turn right at the sign “The Resort at Majahua Palms” (approx 5 kilometer). The resort is on the left ½ mile just before the water tank.
Car Rentals and Taxis At the Ixtapa/Zihuatanejo Airport you can either rent a car or take a taxi. There are numerous car rental agencies located within the airport terminal directly in front of the Customs clearance door. It’s best to book a rental car in advance through Alamo, Avis, Hertz or Budget.
Taxis are also available in all shapes and sizes depending upon your luggage.
